Celestial Infusion Blend
Summer Drop Special - Nomadic Size, Easy to pack :)
A calming and cooling blend, beautifully blue which turns a dreamy purple when adding a squeeze of citrus! Its taste is floral and delicate, while being refreshing.I love making a strong infusion of it, and mixing it with sparking water and a generous squeeze of lemon juice.
Ingredients: Wild gathered elderflowers, homegrown lemon balm and blue butterfly pea flowers grown, hand picked and hand dried by my son’s grand-father in Hong Kong
Elderflower (Sambucus nigra) ~ calming, soothing properties
Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) ~ relaxing nervine tonic, calms the digestive system
Butterfly Pea flower (Clitoria ternatea) ~ a plant that has been used medicinally for hundreds of thousands of years in Chinese and Ayurvedic Traditional Medicine for many things from brain health to blood sugar regulation. It is a prolific & vining wildflower endemic to equatorial Asia and this one is hand grown. The flower’s beautiful blue colour (which turns purple with the addition of acidity like lemon juice!) comes from the antioxidant anthocyanin, a class of water-soluble flavonoids. They have incredible benefits including anti-inflammatory properties, antiviral properties, and help build collagen, as well as a great ally for our eye health and vision.
