The inspiration behind Rooted in Rituals was ignited by the practice of ritualised actions, where a simple every day act is transformed into an intentional act of care and nourishment.
Every mouthful, every sip, every soak, every breath is taken with intention and attention. There is more to joy, nourishment and healing than the ingredient itself. There is deep strength into our call for presence.
By weaving plants and food with rituals, we can cultivate presence and listen to the body, we can bring ourselves back in connection with the nature inside and outside of us and restore our innate healing intelligence.
Our offerings include cooking and herbal workshops for an empowered life; experiences to gather, learn, connect and deepen our connection to ourselves and nature; herbal remedies capturing the essence of plants and the seasons in a bottle; made to order cakes crafted to celebrate your life’s big moments'.

Meet the founder
Stéphanie Cruchandeau, Rooted in Rituals’ founder, is a mother, a daughter, a chef, a baker, a teacher, an herbalist, a plant alchemist.
She blends her French heritage with a deep passion for connected living. With family roots in the South West of France, renowned for its culinary culture, Stéphanie grew up appreciating the delicious traditions of French cuisine. She later got an interest in naturopathic cooking which she studied and obtained a diploma from the College of Naturopathic Medicine. She founded Chef Naturelle in 2019 to share her knowledge and love for food by serving people, teaching them to reconnect with food and take ownership for their own health through private cheffing, catering for yoga retreats and wellness events, cooking classes including for the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, corporate and festival talks.
She found her way to herbalism in more recent years, when pregnant with her son. The plants kept calling for her attention and she dived into studying them, obtaining a herbalist diploma from Pacific Rim College in 2023 and later a 5 month mentoring programme with Erin Lovell Verinder, all while connecting with the plants by growing them with love, foraging them in reverence and making herbal preparations.
In December 2025, Chef Naturelle became Rooted in Rituals, to reflect the natural evolution and depth of her work and allow people to (re)connect with their body, with their food and with their inner knowledge of natural healing.
Stéphanie’s work is grounded in the rhythms of the earth and is guided by the wisdom of the feminine.
