A warm welcome to you.

The inspiration behind Rooted in Rituals was ignited by the practice of ritualised actions, where a simple every day act is transformed into an intentional act of care and nourishment.

Every mouthful, every sip, every soak, every breath is taken with intention and attention. There is more to joy, nourishment and healing than the ingredient itself. There is deep strength into our call for presence.

By weaving plants and food with rituals, we can cultivate presence and listen to the body, we can bring ourselves back in connection with the nature inside and outside of us and restore our innate healing intelligence.

My offerings include herbal remedies capturing the essence of plants and the seasons in a bottle; earth cakes crafted to celebrate you life’s big moments' while being made in commitment to our respect for natural cultivation; cooking and herbal workshops for an empowered life; experiences to gather, learn, connect and deepen our connection to ourselves and nature.

Each offering is crafted with intention and attention in Hertford, United Kingdom.

Stéphanie Cruchandeau

I am a mother, a daughter, a plant alchemist, a chef, an herbalist, an artist.

My work is grounded in the rhythms of the earth and guided by the wisdom of the feminine.

For almost a decade, I have served people, teaching them to reconnect with food, to take ownership for their own health through private cheffing, catering, cooking classes, corporate and festival talks.

I see this work as being a bridge between Mother Nature and people: allowing people (re)connect with their body, with their food and with their inner knowledge of natural healing.

I found my way to herbalism in more recent years, when pregnant with my son and it’s been a potent way to connect to plant allies. I love creating remedies from plants foraged in reverence, grown with love and respect for the earth or sourced from trusted places.

I have learnt about naturopathic cooking and herbalism through certified qualifications, books, practice and from my mentor Erin Lovell Verinder. I will always continue to study, stay curious and learn as this is my greatest pleasure, but I know that what is probably more important than the amount of information we learn is our ability to listen and to connect to the body and to nature as a whole.

While it does take efforts to slow down in this fast paced world and bring rituals back into our lives, our body and our experience will become aligned to what is and we will actually enjoy what it means to be alive.

With consciousness, presence, intention and respect,

I look forward to connecting with you.
